COVID response

We are serious about keeping The Duke of York a safe place for both our customers and staff. We greatly appreciate everyone following the guidelines, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

  • Temperature Check & Contact Tracing

We check the temperature of customers on arrival using a contactless digital thermometer. We will ask a guest in every group to provide contact details.

  • Sanitising

We ask everyone to sanitise their hands each time they enter the pub. We sanitise all tables and chairs after every group leaves. Other surfaces that are regularly touched by guests are cleaned continually.

  • Table Service

You will be shown to your table on arrival and a member of staff will be over regularly to take your drink or food orders. Please don't go to the bar.

  • Social Distancing

Our tables have been spaced out to provide adequate space between groups.

  • Face Masks

Please wear a face covering when you are not seated.

  • Menus

All menus are "single-use" and thrown into the recycling after every use.
